Penny Eng was born in Malaysia where she
was steeped in the world famous multi-
cultural Asian culinary traditions and
techniques.

Since moving to San Francisco in 1985,
Penny has worked in virtually every  
aspect of the food industry – including
catering, as a chef for restaurants and
private clients, and for food styling.

A noted chef in both Eastern and Western
cuisines, Penny brings the sensibilities of
each to her cooking and styling.

Penny’s work as a food stylist and assistant
food stylist has included such clients as
Safeway, Sunset Magazine, PG&E
Wal-Mart, Chronicle Books, and celebrity
